Wrinkles To Rocks is an installation that vacuum seals patches of SCOBY sewn to a net, measuring 250 x 117 cm. The seal is maintained by a periodically functioning vacuum pump. Initially, the liquid is slowly and visibly pulled from the SCOBY through the hose, being isolated from the pump by the catch pot and condensation capture. During the exhibition, it took a week to fully drain the SCOBY, after which there was a perfectly airtight seal.
